"What is your Favourite song?" He asked me. A hundred emotions swept over me, I felt the songs I love begin to play like a soundtrack-- the soundtrack of my life. These songs didn't play according to the sequence of how much I love them, but they came rushing and filling up the atmosphere with memories of pain, laughter, confusion, love-- raw teenage love filled with
angst, and devotion to a God I questioned even when many around me sang "you can't question God". The Dj must be my twin, he/she loved what I loved.
Below are the soundtracks of my life, although, not rigid or close to being complete but we could be friends if you liked/like some of these, I could totally whisper and kiss your ears if you lived some of these!

17. "Jolene". Dolly Parton. ( And I can easily understand how you could easily take my man/ but you don't know what he means to me, Jolene).
16."One Love". Onyeka Onwenu ( Don't be sad; understand Everybody has a day when the sun stays away).
15. "Life". Des'ree ( I'm a superstitious girl I'm the worst in the world/ never walk under ladders/ I keep a rabbit's tail).
14. "Stop and stare". One Republic ( Stop and stare / you start to wonder why you're here not there and you'd give anything to get what's fair/ But fair ain't what you really need Oh , you don't need).
13. "Fast car". Tracy Chapman ( You see my old man's got a problem / he live with the bottle that's the way it is/ he says his body's too old for working his body's too young to look like his/ my mama went off and left him /She wanted more from life than he could give/ I said somebody's got to take care of him/So I quit school and that's what I did).

11. "All coming back to me".Celine Dion ( There were days when the sun was so cruel that all the tears turned to dust and I just knew my eyes were drying up forever (forever)).

9."When we call on Jesus". Necole C. Mullen ( Weary brother/Broken daughter/Widowed, widowed lover/You're not alone/If you're tired and scared of the madness around you/ If you can't find the strength to carry on).
